Started to get back to my wood carving projects after the move and other things. I am back to creating new members of my Kokeshi army.

Yo Takimoto - Wood Carving Class

On Sunday I took another wood carving class with Yo Takimoto. This time I picked bristlecone pine as my wood. The wood had a split in it so I opened it up to create my abstract squid looking thing.

Wood Carving with Yo Takimoto

Yo Takimoto is back in town. This time I picked a piece of Hiba wood. I created another abstract object but I am not completely happy with it so I think I'll work on it a little more.
