We had a chance to see Miyazaki in person last night!
Pixar's John Lasseter hosted an event which showed clips from Miyazaki's films and followed with question about his career.
No photos were allowed but my wife took this picture before the program began.

Picked up my car today after a week. At 37,000 my Audi A3 needed a new transmission. I had the dreaded PRNDS blinking lights on my DSG transmission. Luckily I did not have serious problems while driving as others have had. Audi (VW too) better fix this issue or I'm dumping this car before my warranty ends!

Ono-fish tacos at gr/eats on Sawtelle. We love coming here because they have such a variety of food. Today instead of my usual order of Mayan or Teriyaki Chicken I had the tacos.
